MultiOne Ltd is developing a system for monitoring ecosystem landscape heterogeneity of agricultural lands using open Earth Observation (EO) data. This project, submitted under the European Space Agency (ESA) Plan for European Cooperating States (PECS) in Croatia, aims to leverage freely available satellite imagery to provide valuable insights into the diversity and spatial arrangement of agricultural landscapes. This information can support sustainable land management practices, biodiversity conservation efforts, and a better understanding of agricultural ecosystem dynamics.
MultiOne Ltd is spearheading a project focused on developing an advanced system for monitoring ecosystem landscape heterogeneity across agricultural lands, leveraging the wealth of freely accessible Earth Observation (EO) data. This initiative, submitted under the European Space Agency (ESA) Plan for European Cooperating States (PECS) in Croatia, aims to transform how we understand and manage agricultural landscapes. By harnessing the power of satellite imagery, the project will deliver crucial insights into the diversity of habitats and the spatial arrangement of different landscape elements within agricultural areas. This detailed information will empower stakeholders to adopt more sustainable land management practices, implement effective biodiversity conservation strategies, and gain a deeper understanding of the complex ecological dynamics that underpin agricultural ecosystems. The outcomes of this project are expected to contribute significantly to environmental monitoring efforts and promote a more holistic approach to agricultural land stewardship.
